This is so ridiculous. Have anyone you looked at the Blair, Graham match-up? Blair will destroy Graham. And takethemoneyandrun- that is so ridiculous. Blair has never backed away from a dual. All those years they won Iron Man, they still put on the line and wrestled Eds. Why shouldn't Graham put it on the line. it just shows fear.
well all I have to say is we have attempted to beat st.eds for years and we have had are tails kicked by them many times they are a hell of a program and have awesome talent they still are and always will be one of the power houses and not to mention Blair but guess what the boys from the sticks are changin things up all I gotta say is Buxton come on get ya some baby, my prediction graham vs Blair 38-20 Graham, The bus ride home would suck wouldnt it Mario Mason!!!!!!!!
callitlikeiseeit-I'm sure EVERYONE wants to wrestle Blair, like you said. But, only a couple HS teams (in the nation) actually merit the opportunity.
Just anyone calling or e-mailing (like yourself) should be ignored by Buxton.
Don't cry about not getting a response. Cry about a lack of talent, which is why- no response.
ST PARIS GRAHAM WESTLING GOOD LUCK 2008 MAKE IT GOLDEN CONGRADS ON NATIONS TOP SEED BUT WATCH OR SIX THE REST WILL BE GUNNING FOR YOU ............PS TELL JIM I SAID HELLO AS WELL
Because everyone wants to wrestle them. Do you know how many calls they would have to return. I just sent Buxton an e-mail myself to try to set up a duel myself... Should I cry if he doesn't respond?
Graham should take their early season wins and lay low until March. Why should they risk losing a number one ranking by wrestling a perennial powerhouse? They should just pack it up right now and call it a year. You can't lose it if you don't actually put it on the line.
If getting excited gets your wrestlers going then do it! Emotion is a big part of H.S. wrestling and getting your wrestlers to give 100% is not easy. Being excited and getting your guys pumped up is all part of the game. If you ever watch Dan Gable during a close match or dual you will see him react in similar fashion.
Jordan didn't jump around like an idiot. Of course he was excited why wouldn't he be. Hope Graham wins the National Title this year. Jordan is a great guy and deserves some recognition for his program.
I don't believe that coach Jordan was jumping around like an idiot Derf, and accually this is the 1st time Graham has ever been number one and i think that is actions were quite appropiate
The Best In The Nation December 18, 2007 at 9:21am
I hope Graham wins everything this year inculding a national title cause theve been trying to win one for about 14 years good luck to all Graham wreslters
did jeff jordan attend graham? i remember back in the mid 90's people talking about graham wrestling when i was at indian lake. graham was tough even back then. also, i agree that graham is #1 in nation. they pommled st ed's, not only on the score board but physically.
Graham beat Blair by 40 points at the Ironman. Why all the smack talk? The numbers speak for themselves. Graham is #1. National titles should be decided by tournaments not duals, just like college. That being said, the Ed's dual was just icing on the cake for Graham. Even if Blair would beat Graham in a dual Graham should still be #1.
You have obviously never been to The Clash. It's extremely well run, the venue is phenomenal, the competition is great, and the wait list is huge for teams wanting to get in. Inform yourself before defaming a great event.
Why not make the championship the Super 8s, where only 8 teams get to compete...strong and concentrated instead of thousands of wrestlers from all over the country going into a crazy event. Keep it simple and potent...every dual would be exciting and kids wouldnt be worn out by the end of the weekend.
The whole country would like to see all 3 teams attend The Clash next year. Enough with this BCS ranking stuff! Wouldn't everyone like to see them wrestle in a real National Championship?
I was here, and thought Coch Jordan was an idiot on the side of the mat, jumpping around. Have some class. Heck it's not like you have not won at all levals before.
Thanks for a really great show, coach & team graham! I will drive down to Ohio & back to Chicago in the middle of a snow storm any day to watch a spanking like that again! Your team has the best record and the best attitude, props to you Mr. Jordan! See you at the Blair duel...
ha...ha....that was good remembering when st.paris did not get the props and no call from blair.....my bet is blair DOES not call....and concedes that nat title to st.paris
CONGRADULATIONS COACH JORDAN U SAID U WERE GONNA DO IT. YOUR COACHIN STAFF COACH RYAN AND LENG AND THE GRAHAM TEAM HAS WORKED HARDER THAN ANY TEAM IN THE COUNTRY SO U DEFFINENTLY DESEVED IT! I THINK WERE GONNA B ON TOP FOR SOME YEARS NOW THINKIN BACK ON THE UNDER CLASSMEN WERE GONNA HAVE UP N THE UPCOMIN YEARS.
They already spoke after the ironman and I think the coaches already trying to setup match. You guys are way late to the party, Jordan and Buxton have been talking since then.
Jeff Jordan goes into the huge victory for St Paris Graham over St Eds finally. He also talks about a potential St Paris Graham vs Blair match up. December 16, 2007
St Paris Graham beats St Eds for the first time in 9 tries. They not only beat St Eds but ran through the wall with an unbelievable 47-13 victory over the 2007 defending National Champs.

"Blair will destroy Graham"
Did you check out the Ironman results?
I will say Graham vs. Blair would be close, neither team would (as you say) "destroy" each other.
Just anyone calling or e-mailing (like yourself) should be ignored by Buxton.
Don't cry about not getting a response. Cry about a lack of talent, which is why- no response.
Raymond Anderson (aka - the Blonde Bomber) would be so proud! I'll send'm a pack a Marlboro's as a gift!!!
