Burns got very lucky in most of this match mason got banged up from his quater final match and said he was very sore from it.

i think that most of the people who post on these matches have never really had a tough match against a top ranked wrestler ever, its tough to finish on good wrestlers at any level, yall just get on here and put down one of best high school wrestlers in the country b/c u couldnt do what he has done if u wanted to. Yes Mason was slughish but he took every shot and was the only one to score an offensive point. not to say that burns\' defensive wasnt impressive but he did nothing....mason better wrestler by far, i have seen him beat some of the best in commanding fashion....everyone on here that puts down wrestlers, who you could not have beatin even if u tried, really need to just keep your mouths shut and your comments to yourself..it only makes you sound like fools

Mason took a bad shoot and got pancaked. Sometimes when you are on top and someone pushes you a mistake is made. I happens to the best of them. You have to gave the kid from NC credit, he kept pushing. I like to see those two go at it again. Mason is still one the best in the country, but it is a big country!

Don't come with that theres tough wrestlers in every state.

NC is tougher than most people give it credit.

When I wrestled in NC I had the oppurtunity to watch him wrestle several times
He is a tremendous athelete and wrestler. I hate that the simple fact that he wrestles in NC undermines his wrestling ability to many people.

hmmm...for the ones that comment on Burns; he IS in remarkable condition..there is no denying that. Technically he is NOT as sound as Mason. Dan Gable lost to Larry Owens in his final collegiate match. Owens outwrestled him, THAT MATCH...one match does not depict skill level fellas. Mason is a Jr. National champ, day in day out he has proven his mettle. Burns got him on the right day, while he did look gassed, he lost. That in NO WAY means that Burns is better...take a 100% Mason and 100% Burns....goes to Mason all day. I give him credit, but come on...he won in the LAST 20 seconds and did NOTHING the whole match....that makes him better. Obviously some of you guys have not wrestled on a high level. I have and I'm here to tell you that sometimes even the greatest fall, that is why you wrestle the match...you never know
