Tyrel Todd (Mich) v Mike Pucillo (Ohio St)

These two both had a great rivalry. Todd losing in vegas finals to Pucillo then going on to beat him for 5th/6th at NCAAs and Todd Beating Puccillo in vegas finals only to finish 3rd while Puccillo went on to win nationals. Both excellent wrasslers

That was great, one for a Hollywood ending. Pucillo had much better penetration at the beginning and scored well with Todd fighting his way back into the match. Neither wrestler quit and both proved admirable proponents of the mental toughness that Chapman talks about in his book on that matter. That was heads up wrestler by Todd to recognize the opportunity for the pin at the end of overtime, really praisworthy effort on both.

The whole match was back and forth! Todd was not the better wrestler but in the books a win is a win! Pucillo got himself out of position and at the NCAA level out of position means disaster!

todd got third anyone at this level can winon any given day!

Todd was in terrible shape he completely gassed at the end of the match pucillo just got out of position

judging by this video and the NCAA's Pucillo is the much better wrestler, it just seems to me that Todd is just diesel strong with good hips, but Pucillo is the much much better technical wrestler

Todd was in much better shape at this point in the season. It's better to PEAK at the end of the season when it counts. Go Bucks
