2007 Super 32 Challenge returns to the Special Events Center at the Greensboro Coliseum and it has quickly become the premier pre-season tournament in the country. After much thought, Middle School division has been eliminated in order to ensure the continued success of the tournament. The 2006 tournament drew wrestlers from 26 states, and featured over 175 state champions. States represented were Alabama, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia. 13 out of 14 weight classes in the high school division had at least one wrestler ranked in the top 12 in the country, and several weight classes had multiple top 12 ranked wrestlers. I enjoyed wrestling Massa he is a good wrestler who has a great future stored in for him...but is still along way from actually beating wrestlers like me and the altons brothers also a pretty darn good wrestler is Jackson Morse wrestled him in a meet once and only won 4-3 tough guy that does'nt get alot of credit

Massa in michigan is pretty good but i would agree that he is a long away from being the most dominating Fr. in the Nation ....Chris Phillips in my opinion is...Massa still needs work on his conditioning and he is still very weak needs to get in the weight room

Old man Palmer is bad case of living life through jr. I don;t think he won a jv bout . Funny stuff. The y stuff and faces out of Palmer were in bad taste , especially when an 8th grader was scoring back points on him lol

This is what happens when you push these kids at such a young age to be "world" champions. The kids burn out and lose interest. Happening a lot more often with all these "world" championship type tournaments popping up everywhere.

Oh   April 27, 2008 at 7:19pm
The Massa kid looked good in this match. That's impressive for an eighth grader.

As an Ohio fan I feel like Collin Palmer has lost the will to wrestle. I think he doesn't enjoy it anymore and it shows. If shows the effort that he did at Super 32 and all this season, mark my words, One of the Alton boys will beat him at Ironman next year.

I'm not knocking him because if I were in his shoes i would be burnt out long ago. I'm just saying if he really wanted it, he would not have close matches like he did here or like the one with Ormsbee etc.

6-0 in 4 minutes would imply about 9-0 in a six minute match, which isn't that impressive, but is nonetheless a major.

Palmer killed him? 6-0 isn't killing anybody. Especially when you're supposed to be one of the best in the country and you're wrestling an 8th grader.

Palmer doesn't care how much he wins by as long as he wins that is going to hurt him in college. He is still a two time state and will be a four time because he knows what it takes to win.

whys everyone hatin on palmer? 1st off, even if those were backs at the end, it wouldnt have made a difference. 2nd, the potentially dangerous call was legit, if more refs were catious about that sort of thing than there would be a lot less knee injuries in wrestling. and finally palmer would prolly kill any of you guys so you cant really be saying he sucks, multiple state champ in ohio is pretty damn good.
