Winning a state championship in florida is equivilant to making varsity in Virginia! I am a virginia wrestler and my record was 9-35 last year but 2 of my wins were against florida state champions when we came to a florida tournament and dominated and no one from florida has ever come close to scoring on me! So quit trying to act like florida is better than virginia!!!

Wrestling in front of a packed house is great, regardless of whether it is a HS or not. Pretty cool environment, who cares if it is a HS?

It is a slap in the face to 3A wrestlers of VA to have their state championships in a HS. The powers from above need to put all classes together and make these a REAL state tourney. If we truly have as many good kids as we think, it will only make us better!

I have been to both state championships and the one is Salem is much better however if all three classes were together it would put us in the ranks of PA and NJ. Why do we accept this??
