No change at #1 here. There's not much this kid hasn't done. 1st at Ironman (with a win over Stieber at that) 2nd at the Beast, and overwhelming #1 in VA. I don't think there should be much debate about keeping Carter number one.
Dyer dropping a match to Renkey initially made me waffle on him, but his bump up win against Hoover's tough 119 (Bond) cements him in at number two in my book. Got to love a kid that will go up a weight class to get the tough match.
Brian St. James (or BSJ as he's known in GA) is a clear cut number three. His impressive win over a ridiculus field at Spencerport will keep him near the top until someone proves other wise.
To be honest you could shuffle 4-8 about any way you like and could make a legitimate argument for yourself. These guys are just that close. Bauer is winning against some talented wrestlers up north. Tim Thirsty is just about a sick as they come. Martino is a returning VA AAA state champ so you know he's tough. Renkey won the super tough Cheesehead and is one of FL most consitant wrestlers, and Fisher is a returning State Champ with a very impressive resume. Trust me I've been through the sort 6 different ways with this group and am still not sure I have it 100% right.
Finally I couldn't decide between Van Dyke and Watson so I ranked them both. Both those guys just keep winning (Watson just came off a win at the tough Southern Prep Slam) so I can't justify dropping either of them out just yet. Walrich you see me name drop your tournament. You owe me!!!
Side not for the all the FL supporters out there, the only reason Norstrem is not in the Top 10 is because he's an eight grader. You can go ahead and put him near the top of the list at the start of next year.
