Mark Perry grew up around some of the greatest wrestlers and wrestling minds in this country. It is because of this that he feels like he is very capable and very good at working with his wrestlers to help them, not only with their actual wrestling, but with their minds instead. Through growing up around all of these great wrestling people, Mark Perry has learned the multitude of ways that a coach can get inside the head of an athlete. There is no right way and wrong way to coach and motivate people, just different methods.

Unbelievable the # of greats this dude has been around. And it's all because he's sought it out and gone a different route than most people would ever consider doing. I hope it all pays off for him, because I think he can be a great college coach one day.

Mark Perry is going to be a great coach, he was great high school wrestler, great college wrestler, and now he has set the bar to be a great coach. I think it's great he is recruiting kids from California, Delgado is wrestling tough and hope he wins hes All-Star match. And with isaiah martinez starting in the fall, its going to be fun following the team.
