The mistake Arrington made in this match was in attempting to pin this very strong wrestler off of the shot rather than going for the takedown first. We went back into the practice room after this loss and worked on this issue. The results was a much improved performance against Strope five months later during Preseason Nationals. At this level of wrestling, small adjustments can make a big difference. |
