Wow Skonieczny loses one match and now all the haters come out and say how much he sucks. I would put Skonieczny skills against any of you who say he sucks and can't do anything

Damn. No offense Nate but he does not look like a #1 in the nation wrestler..
He has no offense from the feet, no game from top. At least he knows how to hit a stand up.

Does Walsh Jesuit even have coaches? Or do they just pick up good middle school wrestlers and throw them in the gym?

All the blair kid did was back up and grab the fingers to slow him down. Should have been hit with stalling 2-3 times. Ref needs to grow a pair for sure.

Give the kid a break people...so he has some stuff to work on..but he is also a top five wrestler in the country at his weight class, and in the finals of one of the toughest High School tournaments in the nation. You people act like he does nothing right.

He will work hard to improve his mat wrestling in the off season and in the room at Iowa. Nate will be just fine.

You can see clearly that Skonieczny is tying up the wrists, not Preston. Skonieczny has no attacks, so his best hope is to get lucky with a reshot

Yeah, he is. He will be lucky to be the #1 backup in Iowa's lineup. He will be just like his brother Chase, who was a complete dud for Kent State and turned into a joke. Doesn't even start now, I believe he cracked the top 33 ONCE ( at #33, lol). Chase was a blue chip recruit as well.

Nate's best hope in college is to crack the top 8 at Midlands, possibly by senior year, and only if Iowa can send 3-4 guys at the weight.
Nate is so beat I hope Iowa is not throwing scholarship money in the trash. Brands tends to get good recruits but unfortunately it seems like he dug in the garbage bin for this one.

Nate is gonna suck in college you could see there when he wrestlers someone that's just as good or better then you on his feet you can't win big matches, needs to work on bottom an top! Not seeing him doing good this year

I have no dog in this fight, but Preston should have banged for stalling (not just warned). All he did was hang on, back up and try to counter with the OH kid doing all the work. Ref needs to grow a pair and get the kids wrestling.
