The Reno college tournament pitted defending champions Wyoming Cowboys matched up with the Oklahoma State Cowboys in three big matches at the tournament and Oklahoma State came away as the champions. Jordan Oliver won the tournament with five first period pins.

There were a number of Flonationals Majors taking place this weekend. Jermaine McCove and Mark Morris covered the Beast of the East where Blair won with 5 individual champions and Mark Grey became the first four time Beast champion. At Reno future OSU Cowboy Kyle Crutchmer won with 4 pins and a tech fall, Poway won the team title. At Tri State future OSU Cowboy Jordan Rogers won his way through the tournament with first period pins and Mead won the team title. Apple Valley dominated the field at the Minnesota Holiday Tournament and Kyle Kingsley dominated his way through the field.

It's wrestling, if its not illegal keep it going as long as possible before calling potentially dangerous. If it hurts bad enough the wrestler will go over. Thats me speaking from the Northeast.

While I agree potentially dangerous can be called quick, I'd rather it be called too quick than too late. Shoulder injuries can end careers.

Great show. Can we refer to Marion as "The Beast Master" from now on?...love the Big Lebowski reference. Levi never should have shaved that stache. That's like superman taking off his cape. As for the potentially dangerous comment...let it ride. Guys will scream when it's really bad.

My prediction is that Either Flores or Z from Ok State will win HWT. Jack is a man mountain, but other than hitting a lateral on a 184 pounder and getting a default from his buddy, he hasn't shown the stuff to get to the top of the podium. I'm pulling for Z to win it, but the Russian kids have a tough time getting through the NCAA's without a loss (Remember Muzzafar?). Z is hands down the best wrestler at the weight, but Flores and Rey have the grind it out mentality.
