This week on Flocenter Martin Floreani makes a guest appearance to talk about the Kent State and Ohio State rivalry that has been building up over the past few years. Joe Williamson and Mark Bader come on the show and highlight some of the wrestling and issues that took place over the weekend. Flo did coverages at Penn State vs Lehigh, Oklahoma vs Oklahoma State as well as the Ironman tournament. Another Flo Major was added to the schedule as Flowrestling featured the Mid America Nationals in Tulsa, OK.

In football, they teach you to tackle with the head up because it's the direct blow to the top of the head that is most likely to cause c-spine fracture. I don't know whether the OSU-KSU takedown was a slam or not, but that's exactly the kind of impact that could paralyze a kid.

Isn't it funny now that they changed the injury time rule that ohio state doesn't take injury time every match any more

Both were slams...

Also, our coach never let us do the injury time out thing and honestly when I got going in a match I didn't want to break the 'Flo". I think injury time is a bad tactic.

Slam but not illegal or malicious slam. Cam has to get his hands out to protect himself when he is lifted in the air. Glad he is ok. They will battle again.

Ironman= slam
Kent vs. tOSU= not a slam

Just because he landed on his head does not make it a slam. Ian was coming down with or below, not on top= no slam.
