If you're going to wrestle Isaiah Martinez, you'd better be ready to scrap thats for damn sure. |

Full Tank of Gas

Anyone is gonna gas wrestling someone not only nationally ranked very high but also 12 pounds heavier than you are normally. Great match-up though and could have gone either way. Speaks volumes for Martinez. He's a beast and I look forward to following him through the rest of his career. The next great California wrestler: Isaiah Martinez. |

Great match...two great wrestlers. I agree with Nick...it's looks like Martinez was the better wrestler, at least on his feet. Those Cali guys are very good on their feet, but they come up a little short with the mat wrestling stuff. Martinez is only a sophomore, so we'll see this guy again. |

Wildmo is ranked at 152? Did Wildmo wrestle any high school matches at 140 this year? We were verbally told that you could not wrestle at a weight lower than any match you wrestled during the high school season. If those are the rules and Wildmo did not wrestle a match at 140, I think Flo has to take a look at that. That is the problem with a 5lb weight allowance. Next year I think Flo should do away with the 5lb allowance. |

wait, what?

according to intermat.com, wildmo is the second ranked wrestler in the country. Did he make a big cut for this, or was he just a small 152 pounder? |

Dang has it right. Martinez can do things no one else does, but sometimes it get's him into trouble. He is only a soph, so he has lot's of time to learn. Let's hope that he doesn't lose that go for broke mentality. |

Martinez has an exciting style, and he is probably my favorite wrestler to watch. But dang it, it causes him to be put in less than favorable positions too often, which you can't afford to do at this level. Once he fine tunes his style, he's gonna be a beast (as if he isn't one already) |
