I'm sure he wouldn't have gotten past some of California's unknowns.
Kids come out of nowhere and win it or place. Kids that aren't even ranked
or attend post season. Only in Cali.

That's funny. I do the same thing. All star matches can end like this because one guy might not care as much as the other.

Don't know if he would have won it 4 times, but Brewer would have been a California State Champ... Maybe a few times... this is coming from a California guy.

WOW. I wouldn't have respected that guy JG comments had I not looked him up.

So, the CA state tournament is really that tough? What makes it so tough besides
being a single class?

Joe Gonzalez 6 months ago

Your wrestlers are good. I can see they have their basics down. But, the California state tournament even
the qualifying tournaments are brutal. With all due respect. Brewer, might have qualified for the state tournament on a good day. But for sure would never place. I have watched a lot of wrestling and you can watch some of my matches on here especially the one I lost to Gene Mills. So I can distinguish between these things pretty easily. I don't know why people who have never seen the California State Tournament talk about it like its nothing. This is one of the toughest if not the toughest H.S. tournament in the country. Anyways, like I was saying. Your kid, Brewer is good. But not CA state placing material. Thanks. JG

I'd love to wrestle either of these guys.. I'd dominate them both.

Ernie Ciaccio 10 months ago

These guys would have a hard time qualifying for the CA state tournament let alone ever placing in it

Brian Ambrose 10 months ago

Neither of these guys could probably beat a 1x PA or NJ runner-up.

And on this day...Not a Single was given....

Two words-- Got doubles??? Commentator on this is hilarious

The title is wrong. Tanennbaum was a 3xer not a 4xer. 2 great wrestlers though.

Haha! for real, Dr. Kemp is the freaking man!!! Love his commentary...all types of energy! Reminds me of Zeb a lil bit, but Dr. Kemp seems to be getting a kick out of the match so much more than anyone else! Guy loves wrestling. I respect that

Couldn't watch the whole match because the people talking were too annoying.

If I ever act like this while filming a match I hope somebody slaps me...

brewer is a great wrestler but i would have liked to see the match without tanenbaums injured knee, it would have been alot closer

next stage 2 years ago

Point proven. Who's next Thielke, Richards, Whitford or Brill?

Top Cat 2 years ago

Brewer is a stud despite Tannenbaum being injured

JJ 2 years ago

Brewer is a Fargo National Champion. Hats off to both outstanding athletes. On this day- Brewer dominated,
it did look like Tanenbaum was 'straight' legged and did not throw legs in on top-could have been his knee,
but the way Brewer looked, likely would not have made much of a difference

Anonymous Coward 2 years ago

Tanenbaum was injured but still went ahead and wrestled. Brewer is still a beast.
