Nasty final at 112 lbs durning the Junior Freestyle National Championships in Fargo North Dakota. Side note, Freddie Rodriguez was the junior greco champ at 105 lbs.

rodriguez won this match by just being the quicker wrestler he was heavy on the head and when an oppurtunity presented itself he capitilized. wish he along with gulibon would have went to nhsca nationals. they could have battled with the 2 finalists that went into overtime there i think one was from pa and the other nm? my opinion is freddie is the best at 112 |

what silver actually do to his leg? i missed it, was it during the takedown when he went for that leg trip off his single leg? or did he hurt while ridding on top. i looked like it hurt him alot and basically cost him the match.muscle cramp for sure.Thats all but ok it cost him the match!!! |

As a former 105 pounder I'll agree that that is a lot of weight to give up to a much stronger wrestler. I'm excited to see what Freddie can do this year - I'm now a fan. What grade is he entering?Freddie is a 2X state champ and is entering the 11th grade |

rodriguez has beaten the #1 103 in the country (cody phillips) and now the #1 112. Silver might be a better folkstyle wrestler than rodriguez, since rodriguez lost to joey dance at super 32 and silver won ironman when dance was in the field. nonetheless though rodriguez was really impressive in this match and at fargo |

Rodriguez stayed heavy on that head. Thats how he broke Silver. If you don't agree ya may want to watch that again. |

Conditioning won that match. Rodriguez had the technique in the last 2 periods and Silver couldn't stop anything. Very impressive for giving up 7 lbs. |
