How did Alton have 'complete control' of the landing when both of his feet were off the mat when Springer made first contact? Some kind of Yoda trick? The video doesn't lie......pause the video @ 2:12.....Alton was airborn. I don't think he was intentionally trying to hurt the other guy......but this was clearly a slam (according to the definition). Mistakes happen......he got away with this one here. I'll bet if they had provisions for coach challenges and instant replay rules.....this would have been declared a slam. |
