The Golden Grand Prix is going to be amazing as always. Currently slated to compete are Yowlys Bonne Rodriguez, Abdusalam Gadisov, Magomed Kurbanaliev, Alan Zaseev, Chiho Hamada, Geno Petriashvili, Yasmany Lugo, Andrey Yatsenko and Reineris Salas Perez. They are expecting 700 wrestlers from 50 different countries in Baku this year.

Not mentioned are all of the coaching changes. Azerbaijan changed their MFS (Zelimkhan Huseynov) and GR (Akif Aliyev) coaches, while Serafim Barzakov takes over the Bulgarian men's freestyle after coaching the women. As expected, Rasoul Khadem stepped down to allow Mohamed Talai to take over the Iranian MFS team after several successful years coaching their junior squad. Khetag Gazyumov, now Hetag Gozyumov, is the coach for North Ossetia.
