Hey Martin, I'm not sure if you could help me but........ a few years ago back I was on an Ohio wrestling website, I'm not sure which one, and there was some guys talking about a wrestling match that happened back in the 80's I believe at the Ohio State Championships. They said one kid was a heavy underdog and the heavy favorite was talking trash to the Media earlier in the week. The underdog came out and when he took off his warm ups he had on a t-shirt that something to the effect of not being his doormat. Then he proceeded to kick the other guys butt big time pulling off one of the biggest upsets in all of Ohio High School Wrestling history. I don't know their names but that's what I was hoping you could help me with. I'm guessing you've probably got the connections to find out. I also thought maybe it would be something you would be interested in. There's apparently a video out there somewhere too. Please help. Thank you. Jason Franks

difficulties for higher education in California. California State
University, Bakersfield, is not immune to this reality. As part of
campus–wide reductions to help deal with the on–going financial crisis,
CSUB Athletics will be discontinuing men’s and women’s golf, tennis and
wrestling as intercollegiate sports, effective with 2010–11 academic
year.
CSUB Wrestling has competed at the Division I level since 1988. We have a rich history of success that includes 43 NCAA D1 All Americans, 9 D1 Champions, 4 Top-10 Finishes, 1996 3rd Place, Top 25 D1...... Academic Teams 97-99-07-08-09 Pac-10 Academic Awards:20 1st Team Selections, 14 2nd Team Selections.

The bottom line, we need to raise $300,000 in order to keep the team alive!
