Great dual. Nice upset for Delgado to put Illinois up late, but Ramos and Marion put the hammer down to close it out. |

We are going to have a good Big 10 battle in the top ranked Iowa Hawkeyes taking on Illinois who is in the top 10 in all polls. Illinois is showing a lot of improvement and seem to be headed in the right direction. First year Illinois assistant coach Mark Perry will be making his was back to Iowa City, IA for the first time since winning a title for the Hawkeyes in 2008. Here is what the lineups and match ups will likely look like for this dual meet. The match that I am looking forward to the most at 133 where we will see #2 Tony Ramos from Iowa and #3 BJ Futrell from Illinois whom just pushed returning NCAA champion Jordan Oliver at the all-star match.
HERE ARE THE RESULTS- Iowa 20 - Illinois 13
125- Jesse Delgado (ILL) dec Matt McDonough (Iowa) 11-7 OT
133- Tony Ramos (Iowa) Mdec BK Futrell (ILL) 13-5
141- Montell Marion Mdec Daryl, Thomas (ILL) 11-2
149- Eric Terrazas (ILL) dec Mark Ballweg (Iowa) 8-4
157- Derek St. John (Iowa) dec Jackson Morse (ILL) 10-5
165- Michael Evans (Iowa) dec Dan Stetler (ILL) 5-0
174- Ethan Lofthouse (Iowa) dec Jordan Blanton (ILL) 6-1
184- Tony Dallago (ILL) Mdec Jeremy Fahler (Iowa) 17-8
197- Mario Gonzalez (ILL) dec Tomas Lira (Iowa) 11-9
285- Bobby Telford (Iowa) dec Patrick Walker (ILL) 2-0
