I was wondering what the toughest high school tournaments are by state... what is the toughest high school tournament in your state, and what state are you from?

when you win the Eastern states for Ny its like winning a state tittle both div 1 and Div 2 of ny state tourney also wyoming seminary might be joining the tourney this year !!!

Ironman is one of the best in the country hands down. Draws the best schools from all over the country. May not be the best but it's at the top. Nothing beats a small, packed, smelly gym. Just DIRTY!

I haven't seen any posts from tennessee, so i'll throw some ideas out there
Many people on the east side of the state will say the McCallie, which draws both some of the top TN teams and some good competition from GA
Anyone who goes to Bradley will say whatever tournament Bradley is at that weekend
In the past few years the Fandetti-Richardson Brawl has been one of the most competitive with wrestlers in a round robin pool then drawn into brackets, guaranteeing both competition and plenty of matches with some of the top teams in and out of state
Finally the GP West Invitational seems to be getting better every year, I think it will be one to watch
On the dual tournament side, the Cleveland Duals stand out as they draw some of tennessee's best to compete as well as Collins Hill GA who is consistently in the tops of the national rankings

New York- The Hank Parisi is no way the hardest in NY state. No teams from outside section 8. i think Bader and John were the only 2 guys to from that tourny to place in the section tourny. The Massapequa Holiday was better in section 8 and Eastern states best in NY.

powerade definitely but bethlehem holiday wrestling classic is pretty tough...usually has blair, nazareth, and northampton along with some other very good pa programs.

The annual Hank Paris memorial which is a nassau county (section 8) staple. This is the hardest tournament in the state, beating the state tournament
