The Moeller Tournament proves to be a tough tournament again this year. LaSalle had three champions - Nick Rockey, Darnai Heard and Elan Heard. Another Heard boy - Kerwin, took second place. Team Captain Deshon Cottman also took 2nd place. Andrew Tyson-Mueller took 3rd place while Garrett Bledsoe and Preston Stacey both took 4th place. Other LaSalle wrestlers in the Moeller tournament were Grant Stacey, Jerod Zimmerman, Tyler Lohmiller, Nathan Tyson, DeMarco Thomas, Kobi Memory, Anthony Williams, Ben Gettler, Richie Brunsman, Noah Weingartner, Cameron Kiley and Carson Kiley. Overall LaSalle had 24 wins and 31 losses and for such an early and tough tournament, I would say we did a good job and should look even better in future tournaments if we continue working hard and getting kids to participate.

Congratulations to Garrett Bledsoe for finishing 2nd place at the Troy Christian Seeding tournament last Saturday, November 14th. It was a strong start to another great season. Garrett won 3 matches and lost to a defending State Champion that outweighed him by over 20 pounds. He wrestled tough and for that he has become a better wrestler.
