METRO practices in Manhattan Saturday 4 - 6 pm Fighthouse (122 West 27th Street, 2nd floor) and Sunday 2-5 pm The Gay Community Center (208 West 13th Street Room 412). Cost: $12 (Saturday-Fighthouse) or $10 (Sunday-Center) Practices sanctioned by The Amateur Athletic Union.
METRO hosts an annual freestyle tournament. METRO athletes have competed locally and internationally at Gay Games, World Outgames, EuroGames, Northeast Beach Wrestling Championships, International Tournament of Paris, and at tournaments with other affiliated clubs.

METRO Winter Freestyle Open - Janauary 17th, 2010
Our club's tournament is coming up soon! There's plenty of time to start training for our friendly neighborhood competition.

Olympic-style wrestling competition; referreed matches; red vs. blue. Everyone gets a medal. All wrestlers are invited to the traditional dinner party afterwards.

August is time for the METRO WRESTLING members to renew individual AAU memberships so that we can continue to maintain the club's insurance coverage under our AAU charter.
Individual athlete memberships can be renewed here.
