Mission Statement



The goal for the Orchard Training Centers and The Orchard Wrestling Club is: to improve skill level, physical conditioning, and mental attitude of the involved athlete, while providing regional, national and international competive experiences.





To provide competition an athletic training opportunities for the athletes in the Philadelphia, and Southern New Jersey area.



To develop the basic Olympic Ideals of sportsmanship, fair play and the desire to compete for the sake of competition.



To provide national exposure to collegiate coaches and programs for the club athlete.



To increase knowledge and understanding of the Olympic styles of wrestling while providing national and international competition opportunities.

The Orchard Wrestling Club, a non-profit 501c3 organization, was established in 1999 as affiliate of the Olympic Governing Body for Wrestling. As a hybrid of ideas, the club developed from a focus on the elite Freestyle and Greco Roman wrestler to become more of a vehicle of introduction to the collegiate coaches and style. As a stepping-stone to further the athlete?s educational aspirations, the club offers the athlete a place to continue his or her off-season training until perfection is reached. As an affiliate of USA Wrestling for five years the club has competed in regional, national and international competition and has hosted foreign teams from Spain, Kazakhstan and Russia in the Southern New Jersey area. The same club athletes have produced over fifty New Jersey States Athletic Association state qualifiers in the same time span, with over twenty placers and fifteen finalists. This year the club had eleven members ranked BY WINN MAGAZINE in the top twenty of the NCAA DIVISION I
