Teams / Effingham Co. High School

The school is located about 20 minutes NW of Savannah, GA. The wrestling program is trying to become one of the state's best. The Rebels return 13 of 14 starters and every point scorer returns including all three state placers. The 2007/2008 squad finished 13th in the state tournament and look to improve on that finish tremendously in 2008/2009. The team is led by head coach Chris Hardin and assistant coach Mc Daniel. Although very young (Hardin-25, Daniel-22), these two have guided Effingham Co. High to new heights in just one year at the helm.
