Cody Oliverio won the starting spot at Plymouth University in the 165lb weight class via a pin. Cody will compete this weekend against AIC and Springfield College.

Mike Morales, the defending 130lbs State Champion from Brick Memorial,has given a verbal commitment to attend West Virginia and wrestle for Coach Turnbull. West Virginia has an excellent wrestling program and have excelled in the EWL and at the NCAA Championships. Mike is slated to compete at 141/149 lbs.

Steven Santos became just the 2nd Freestyle All-American in Brick Memorial Wrestling History. He finished in 6th Place at the Asic Vaughn Freestyle National Championships. Congratulations Steve!!

2-1 at the Point Beach tournament, with a tough 1 takedown loss to the state 4th place finisher on Saturday. On Sunday Joey rebounded by winning the Belmar "On the Beach" tournament. Joey now has 25 off season matches!
