Soap Opera- These are Olympic hopefuls . . .not middle school wrestlers. Men with dreams, and a purpose that choose not to drift through life but constantly strive to better themselves as wrestlers as well as men. If that's nonsense to you then you are an uninspirable human being. A sad disease that I see affllicting more and more of todays youth. Do us all a favor and don't procreate.

It's just a sport, why not wrestle with joy. . . all of this talk of battles, quitting, and life defining matches is kind of melodramatic. . . The Process is difficult enough, but when you add all of this extra non-sense, let's just say winning becomes a relief more than a joy. . . Good Luck Fellas

Ithaca also alludes to The Odyssey; Odysseus was the king of Ithaca when he was dipatched to the Trojan War. After the war, Odysseus spent years trying to return to his kingdom and family, but had to face overwelming adversity before regaining his crown. The Odyssey is generally considered the greatest hero epic.

"Ithaka" is a poem by C.P. Cavafy that Tommy Rowlands reads every day before starting off his training. It emphasizes the importance of embracing the journey. Ithaka can stand for anything that drives you. It is the dream that started you on a journey to begin with. We hope everyone out there is able to find and follow your own personal "Ithaka"!!
