Nebraska wrestling coach Bryan Snyder talks about the success of Jordan Burroughs and why he was able to win the US Open just weeks after winning an NCAA title. Bryan Snyder trains with Jordan Burroughs regularly but has just about had enough. Jordan Burroughs will be training with other people and doing some traveling to help prepare himself for the world team trials in June.

I remember his finals match. If memory serves, that guy got robbed in Albany. His opponent (I can't remember who it was) did nothing but stall.I'm pretty sure it was the younger Williams from Iowa.Great match though. You can definitely see how much of an impact that Snyder has had on Jordan-B with those reshot doulbles. So powerful, simple and effective!!!! Snyder is in my top 5 best 2x NCAA Runner-Ups that would have been a 2x champ (probably more) if he didn't have to wrestle both years against 2 guys that were national champs themselves, Right now, my to 4 in no order at all alr, Besides Snyder, Fleeger, Gerry Abas, Jamil Kelly, etc... Who else is up there that was too seemed way too got to leave without an NCAA Gold?? |

I agree about more fan friendly. Offering more ways to score points doesn't always equal a more exciting match nor does it make it easier for the causal fan to follow. |
