1997 A war that didn't happen in the traditional state finals or a national tournament. This battle took place between 2 undefeated wrestlers at the District 11 Duals. Both guys went on to be state champions this year.

Nice Match! I agree, with the right publicity wrestling could pack stadiums. Best high school match I ever saw was Ryan Lewis from Vernal Utah in the finals at the TOC. He wrestled at Minn. and in RPW and was the definition of chain wrestling.
Wrestling, when cultivated, can fill the stands and demand television coverage like this. What are you doing to strengthen and grow your fan base?
Great mat, but honestly these two guys wouldn't stand a chance against the better guys today that are around this weight. For example these two guys would get handled by the likes of David Taylor, the Altons, Josh Kindig, Palmer, and even 30 pounders like Vilalonga or Tony Ramos. Need I continue?? I don't think so.
Good match! I was rooting for Cote. Snyder seems lick a prick in this match but sometimes you need that intensity.
Couple I have some I had on DVD or converted from VHS, just whatever wherever I can scrounge up some stuff the masses haven't seen. I have a chunk of VHS I and slowly converting to the computer.
