Class tends to be in the eye of the beholder.I will say that extremely passionate fans tend to seem classes from one side and obnoxious from the other side.....win or lose. I truly hope I am not judged at some of my worst moments..........and booing a 3 time champ at 3 different weight classes is wrong.....that young man has earned the respect.
Rob Koll is a stud....he'll defend his guy without question and he's getting boo'd for winning? His 3rd title? He'll defend him and that moment wasn't Iowa's best. However, they are very classy and passionate as hell! Love it, Love Cornell's rise too!
From what I've seen of them, Iowa fans are passionate, knowledgeable, and loyal. Classy is not a word that comes to mind regarding them, but then, how many true wrestling fans are, especially in the heat of the moment?
