Jordon Burroughs was a 2x national champion and 3x All-American at Nebraska. In 2011 after winning his 2nd national title Burroughs went on to the US Open and World Team Trials. At the world championships in Turkey Burroughs won 5 matches in a row to claim the gold medal. Burroughs has continued his dominance since then and is still undefeated in international competition. Burroughs is without a doubt the favorite to win gold at 74kg.

Objectively, I think flow's coverage has been balanced in terms of what the wrestling community is interested in. Burroughs is a big deal to people who follow wrestling and want to see Americans succeed in the olympics. They're not trying to be the Washington Post, uncovering scandals and being a watchdog branch of the government. They've covered Russian Nationals, which is great coverage that you won't see on ESPN. |

gotta stay hungry

Burroughs has more capability than maybe anyone in the last 12 years, but you gotta stay hungry. Remember he almost got taken off the roster when he was in college in the first year or two. I wanna see him win a total of 4 cycles worth of championships, but loose the hype flo and support the focus and work thats whats ganna win all the gold the the American hype. This guy is soooo far away from his potential and he is already winning world championships. I hope he continues to stay hungry, focused and improves |

So much possibility in front of JB... Olympic gold.. another Olympic cycle... Years of dominance, hype, and acclaim as the first U.S. wrestling superstar in the wired-in, social media, "FLO era" of wrestling.. It will be worth watching to see where he'll rank with the all-time greats when he's done. |
