Not worth it Borrough IMO owes us nothing for show he is the World Champ! He just got 50k doesn't need 5K IMO high risk low reward. After Olympic in August I'm sure he will take a much deserved break. Although it would be exciting

Love the promoting. I don't think anyone is really going to call Burroughs or Askren a coward if it doesn't happen. But what's wrong with adding a little hype and interest to a sport which could use it?

Well that was Sonnens tactic. Maybe he did speak to Askren, but he never really said he spoke to Burroughs about it. He only said Burroughs would never back down if challenged. He probably figured if he got a guarantee from Askren, Burroughs would be a no brainer to say yes. Kind of back him into a corner. He is a good promoter and knows how to get what he wants.

Even if Burroughs had no idea, he kind of has to wrestle him, assuming Askren really did agree to it. All Askren has to do now is issue the challenge himself and have it come straight from the horses mouth.

Chael is a pompuos, arrogant, cheating, criminal ass clown who is a pathological liar when it comes to pretty much everything. Burroughs wasn't even aware of anything Chael is saying in this video. He is only trying to stir controversy, like they do in boxing, in order to create excitement. Burroughs seriously had no idea what Sonnen was talking about.

He created his own loop, with only him in it.

This can't really be a possibility, much less a probability....when Sonnen claims that Askren is the best technician (arguably!, I guess) one wonders who he speaks of. Askren is the master of his own style, which is totally suitable to his own lanky frame. Burroughs will embarass him so bad Askren may have to retire from this superslow has been fest..............
