Cliff - Your absolutely right, Sam hasn’t proven him self on a National level which is why I’m giving you a heads up not to sleep on him. He really is a beast & will bet the house he will end up in the top 3.

You will know who he is after this weekend!

Completely flying under the radar at 132 is Jamel Hudson of NY. He is poised to "come out of nowhere" and surprise a number of people. Watch out!

Review '52! It's Thursday. It's going to take a lot of energy drinks to get through all the wts at this rate! What's the plan...Coffee IV's??

Cliff Fretwell 2 years ago

Fan your logic is pretty odd. Unless I know a kid personally and he hasn't accomplished anything how am I supposed to know he's good.

Okay, I'm backing off the praise a bit...The thing about trying to pronounce the names right! Fahey is not Fahh hee. It's Fay hee. Come on man, it's Celtic man! I'm thinking Irish. So even with a Southern accent it's Fay not Fah! Might have to try and cut you some slack though!!

First of all, Strickland would probably survive at least 6 days in Vegas! I've seen him survive much harsher environments first hand. Secondly, Strickland hansn't been coaching Jeske or Dance steadily for almost 2 years now, sparing a few weeks a summer at Granby School. Jeske's main workout partner & coach stays pretty low key at most tournaments yet he's also another product of Strickland. Stick coached him both in HS and a year or 2 in college. (which was tragically ended early on due to a freak knee injury). Also, Jeske finally looks to be in the best shape of his life (He actually wins every sprint & conditioning workout in practice now). He was in horrible shape last year and still took 2nd. Cisneros is just a stud!!! No doubt this will be the match of the tournament! Both are great kids, good luck to both.

Alex Cisneros is back to win it all. Just my prediction.

Don't sleep on Sam Speno @ 126. He's a beast.

Love the coverage but hate the picks. Not just these weights but all of them. Just because someone is going in without any high school credentials they should not be ruled out. If they did their research they would see injuries that took major contenders out of making a name for themselves. I guess we will just have to wait and see.

Now we're talking! How do you like that? Come up with an outstanding idea, compliment the Southern Seers and voila, the official F.R. Picks List! Outstanding! Thanks.

...nice to see everyone's take on the F-R picks but what would also be nice is to have a list of F & R's so I didn't have to pause, refer to the brkt, write the name down and re-start. It would make my life WAY easier and this process faster for me...just sayin' Yeah, what was that drink "Rock Star" or some such...get off that stuff. You might start growing extra appendages or your heart might explode! Love all the research but get some sleep guys!! Would love to see this kind of in depth study go into the World Team coverage next time. Even if you get it all wrong it's obvious that you guys know a thing or two about the wrestlers and even attempt to get the pronunciation of their names right! Can't get by solely on the "cult of personality"...need information too which you guys are really bringing to this process. It makes it closer to professional coverage as we have for other serious sports on the college level and beyond...Way to go Fretty and The Ropster!! Crazy antics but lots of study time went into this...Thanks guys!
