zeb, how can we make mom and dad aware that their 250,00 kids only have 360 choices for wrestling when they graduate HS. Get them pissed off and have them write their congressperson..

I used to have to wrestle off to make the FRESHMAN team of my high school! Today, they can barely fill the JV Squad.

My brother was a state qualifier, county and district champ and he wrestled for edison since age 5!
He was a volunteer in Edison & the parents voted him off.
We are not only underfunded, we are also overpowered by parents who have NEVER wrestled in their life and become "experts' by watching wrestling, and then we have administration with NO balls.
So those in the know, i.e. the coaches, get screwed because parents want to tell us how we should do things and administration has no balls.
This is out of control!
