shoulda been escobedos points, but at the same time escobedo didnt do anything to score the entire match so he obviously didnt want it to bad. The clinch is designed so that the person who is awarded the leg wins. thats why you need to score before it comes down to a ball grab.

wtf is up with freestyle rules?
ball grab twice? why wouldnt it alternate to create the most even system possible so escobedo gets the 2nd clinch.
horrible to see matches won and lost off the damn ballgrab

WOW! Those refs had replay and STILL messed up that call. Escobedo generated the move and that should have been 2 points for Angel.

I hate freestyle- lets stick with Folkstyle. We would dominate internationally if it was Folkstyle. We are just unfortunate that the rest of the world wrestles freestyle.

in the clinch you score if you knock your opponent to his butt or back blanc scored before escobedo exposed his back so the match was over

but escobedo hit his butt after he lifted, which should've made it his move

this is one of the many reasons why i hate freestyle, politics get too involved. should've been escobedo's points at the end. that ball grab is the most ridiculous thing ever

I like both of these guys, but I wouldn't say they're where Cejudo was at with his wrestling in 2008. Just an overall lack of deep shots, reshots,and scoring attempts among the wrestlers on our world team. Somehow it just hasn't sunk in that waiting for the ball grab is a strategy that gets you eliminated at the worlds.

freestyle wrestling is an absolute joke i think just who ever wings the ball grap is guaranteed to win. Someone out of the defensive position actually scored and yet they still award the other wrestler. rules are ed
