@ Askren Wont Make It Right Now. Did you see Aaron Simpson get humbled Sat night? He tried to stand up with a stand up guy. What makes wrestlers so great in the UFC is their ability to takedown opponents and control or submit them. Wrestlers need to wrestle! When they spend too much time striking they lose their takedown ability. Askren would own half the field in the UFC right now and compete with just about everyone. He needs experience. |

Beat down, but I'd still like to see BA get a little sharper on his feet. This guy was easy to take down - not a great stand up either. Still, the next level will throw a knee or a hook that will humble poor Ben. Also he should hammer a guy more when he can; needs more lethal ground and pound to put a better fighter away. |
