Coach Garland really gave a great and honest accessment of Snyder. The other team may not like it but he works with tools that God gave him.

Fired up! If you are a guy in his room, clearly it would be a positive experience. How great is it to have a head coach who believes in you, rather than beating you down?

They had 2,500 in the arena. BUT....Cornell had 3,650 for the Cornell vs Minnesota match last week. Smack THAT down! And, in a small-ish city. Talk about building a fan base and and exciting environment. Koll is a genius, and Garland worked under him for a few years, clearly having learned that being an elite head coach these days has a lot more to do with teaching how to do a single leg.
Props to Garland from taking UVA up a notch each year. Now, he steals Leen as one of his asst. coaches and it just gets better. Great interview. Pretty exciting. Would you rather be under Garland or Brands, if you are a kid looking at DI wrestling?
