Arkansas, which has about 50 high school wrestling teams (around none of which existed several years ago) will soon add yet another college wrestling team:

Can you believe Arkansas will even have a college wrestling team beginning next year?!

This is HUGE in terms of boosting our sport's political clout in Washington (amidst the Title IX: Proportionality wars). It will also help our sport's allure to media, sponsors, administrators and participants regionally, and nationwide. Now if only Mississippi can finally awaken too...
Wouldn't it be great if more college club teams became official ones too?

The Smith's " Mighty Bluebirds " invaded MayheminMemphis this weekend with style and grace. They were a welcomed newcomer to crossing the river and going east. Memphis desperately needs top competition this close. At every age they competed at a high level displaying a great showing. Thanks Pat and his fellow coaches and wrestlers for supporting or Inaugural Event. We look forward to many great matches in the future.

What a team....they are realistic and doers....not just talkers. Good interview. Hopefully they will act as mentors for other state start ups.
Thanks.

Tell me were you guys train and we should get our kids there. It's funny these kids have no idea the coaching staff they have, but they soon will. This is no small project. Sam Walton would be proud
