All excellent sport specific exercises. The cardio exercises are high intensity. High intensity cardio is specific to wrestling and develops both high intensity and low intensity cardio. Low intensity cardio (jogging, swimming) develops only low intensity cardio. Fat burns for hours after high intensity cardio. There are several types of strength: maximal strength, strength endurance, power, power endurance, muscle endurance and speed strength. These exercises focus mainly on power, muscle endurance and agility. Free weights are excellent for developing maximal strength and strength endurance. Dynamic tension and isometrics are types of strength building very specific to wrestling that seem to be underutilized.
