Flowrestling goes over the 2011 NCAA National wrestling championships that took place in Philadelphia PA. The guys go more in depth with each national champion and the top 5 teams in the team race.

Anybody that let you put those clothes on and get in front of a camera is not your friend. All sighted people will be forced to have a lower opinion of you. Weird does not equal better. Great wrestling coverage, however.

UNCG's and UNO's wrestling program was cut at each school at the conclusion of the wrestling season. UNCG had 5 NCAA qualifers and UNO won the national championship in division II this year. Contact the athletic administrators below to help fight for the sport of wrestling.

I wrote to both ADs yesterday, using the email addresses you supplied.

To her credit, UNCG's Record wrote back, saying that cutting wrestling was one of the most painful decisions she's ever made in her professional career. Of course it's no consolation to the kids or coaches in the program or to the wrestling community overall, but at least she has offered an acknowledgment of the gravity of the decision.

does anyone know where someone can watch matches from ncaa's? I really wanna see welch vs jenkins

ESPN 3 has a lot of the tournament available to watch on replay on their website:
4 mats for round 1
4 mats for round 2
4 mats for Quarters
Semis
Consi Finals (Medal Round)
Finals

I have Verizon as my internet service provider and can watch it. I know some other people with can't access it because they have a different ISP.

Yeah but ESPN hardly puts anything on the internet for viewing. It does't make sense for Flo to try to compete with ESPN, but there is a chance they could buy rights to show matches after the tournament on the internet.

It is much more convenient to be able to watch a match anytime online than to schedule it into your day. Obviously it doesn't have the excitement of being there. But if you just want to watch wrestling who cares.

How can Flo get video rights for NCAA Championships next year? Espn was good but their cardboard announcers could take many lessons from Flo. Thanks for all your coverage. Great job!

there is no way FLO can even come close to the amount of money espn pays for the rights. as a whole it is better for our sport that espn airs the finals as their media empire and distribution channels can reach far more people than FLO can at present. i love flo and think they do more for our sport than every other website, but espn has the infrastructure and resources flo cannot match. hopefully one day they can reach that point
