If 3 of the final 4 teams are from the Big 10, do they really need to wrestle each other again to decide who is #1.
The good teams will wrestle the other good teams during the season. There will never be a Cinderella winner who will upset all the top dogs. It's too hard to upset teams in wrestling, especially more than once in a tourney. This tourney doesn't help the teams that are out of the top 10. What's the point in going if you have zero chance of winning? In basketball. baseball, hockey, and even football, there are many more variables that lead to huge upsets. Wrestling puts one guy up at a time. You got what you got and that's all you got. Settle who's best in March when everyone wrestles everyone
