Using stock footage going as far back as the 1970s, this video was created as a tribute to the great sport of wrestling. Highlighting the best USA wrestlers, this is a video to show the world that wrestling isn't just a sport, it's a life

Kerry McCoy. He was a 2x NCAA Champ, Runner-Up at the Worlds, Pan-Am Champ, 2x Olympian and placer, and a World Team member. Kerry is a great guy.

Awesome video! I need to know one thing though. Who is the giant black man at the 2:00 mark? Guy is freakin jacked!

Wow, absolutely great video. The video footage is fantastic, but how it is coordinated with the music is masterful in my opinion. The Neal fist pump, Tom Brands, Sanderson, John Smith and I think it's Bobby Weaver, in the little jogging sequence, Kolat's back flip, Jantzen's duck under hit on the note. Just great. Dave Schultz blinking as the song says "please come home" gave me goose bumps. I think its these things that may consciously go unnoticed, but really tie in all of the video. Just fantastic.

who is that at :15 and 3:55

Yessir, it's Wayne Wells. I had no good quality footage of him, but I found this one picture. I had to put him in there, you are right, he is "unheralded." Well put.

Cooper 10 months ago

Did I see Wayne Wells at the end of the video (still picture) or was that Peterson? Judging by the sideburns I'd probably go with Wells - unheralded gold medalist in '72. Am I in the ballpark - or way off?

I LOVE THIS FREAKING SPORT!

yea, it's the goo goo dolls. I kind of just fell upon this song while looking for a song for Jesse Jantzen's highlight I made, and once I heard it, it kind of gave me the whoile idea for the video.

Had to watch it twice. This video is awesome! It is great that some of the classics are still available to watch on film. Kids years from now will be able to enjow these videos and be inspired!

song? 10 months ago

Is is switchfoot? if not who and what's the name of the song? If it's revealed it could get 100k downloads.

What are the songs you used in this? GREAT VIDEO!

Geoffrey Riccio 10 months ago

Hey Steve, yea I was hesitant to add the Caldwell clip, but it is such a memorable wrestling moment, I couldn't help myself. Thanks for the feedback!

Geoffrey Riccio 10 months ago

Hey everyone. Thanks for all your positive feedback. I made this video for the sole purpose of giving thanks to the great USA wrestlers. I am speechless to see THE John Smith is showing my video. I used as much stock footage as I had collected with the best guys I had. Check out my site http://www.riccioproductions.com for the rest of my stuff. Thanks again....and I have Cejudo at the Beat the Streets and a picture at the end...Olympic footage was unavailale.
