We've all got our opinions.
he touched the hand so Martin is correct...However the ref already started his hand motion to signal the "2" BEFORE the hand touched....sneaky devil
I'm a PSU fan, and I think the reversal was the right call. As for the escape, there was a moment after the roll where Dake lost his lock. The official could have called the escape there, but, it was so quick that it was a judgement call, if he even saw it, as to whether it was long enough to warrant an escape. I'm o.k. with Dake getting the win. As for P4P, forget past accomplishments, imagining a world where all of these guys are at the same weight, this is how I see it:#1 - Ed Ruth - I don't think anyone is beating Ruth, not 184 pound Dake, Taylor, Oliver, Stieber, etc.#2 - Kyle Dake - So tough to score on, and so far, he keeps getting it done.#3 - David Taylor - His cruising past Caldwell shows how dominant Dake & Taylor are.#4 - Jordan Oliver - Tough putting someone this great at #4, but, that is where I see him.#5 - Logan Stieber - Complete domination this year. Obviously, I think JO had 2 last year, which is why I have him one below.Just my $.02
Dake cannot be put above Cael. Cael was undefeated over four years of wrestling in college. He won a university world freestyle title during his college years. AND he was a member of two world teams while STILL in college. Look at Dake's resume. Possible four-time NCAA champion. Not a member of a university world team, olympic team, anything. He was only a third-string alternate for the olympics. HA! Dake? In the conversation for best college wrestler ever? Not even close.

i think whether or not it was a reversal or not it was too questionable to call, i think in situations like that a no call is better than a bad/questionable call...and if dake pulls it off this year he has to be considered the GOAT, 4 titles in 4 different weight classess with no redshirt year... i think that accomplishment mitigates his losses and put him above cael
