My son has worked out with ABE. Very sharp fellow. Great human.I love this comment, "Great human." Just a tad more detailed than necessary but I will go one step further: Yes, I agree, Abe is a great wrestler and a great species of the race Erectus (upright man) which existed 1.8-.3 million years ago. |

Thank you Guru for posting a Kendall Cross match from the Olympics, I loved watching this kid never give up on positions, ever! Amazing to watch and I know Kendall had a burning desire to be number 1 and wondered sometimes why when people talk of the greats of the 90s they think of John Smith, Brands brothers, McIlravy, etc. but I have rarely heard Kendall Cross' name mentioned, wonder why. |

Has there ever been a wrestler who got more mileage out of a whizzer than Cross? He takes a funky, unorthodox position, and a defensive one at that, looks for ways to get into it, and then launches one attack after another out of it. It ain't necessarily pretty, but I love watching it. |

Ok round 2 at the 1996 Olympic Games featuring Kendall Cross and Sanshiro Abe. Cross was the 1989 NCAA champ for Okie State and the 1992 Olympian. Abe was a 4x NCAA AA & National Champ at Penn State going 4,3,2,1. |
