Jon Horn and Angelo DiSabato walk us through the DiSabato family restaurant in Columbus. Emilios was operated by Mike DiSabato (passed away in 2002), between Mike's sons and nephews they have fifteen Ohio State championships, the most of any family in Ohio.

When I was a teenager I would help leo and vince clean the bar. It was kind of a dump back then. We used to steal cigarettes out of an old machine in that back room. Leo was the badest brother of all. If he would have stayed in school he would have been a national champ. Sorry to hear about Beni she was a classy lady. |

Our treat Vanessa. Played my first game of pool while legally drinking beer 1976. Saw my wife buzzed for first time with her friends, had to drive them home 1979. Consumed enormous amounts of "Special Salads" over the years. Coach Horne, I knew I had seen you somewhere before!! God Bless Mike and Binni, for keeping it real in the Westside oc Columbus!! |
