I wouldn't call a full nelson there. The hands don't have to touch for it to be called, but from what I could see, it was an incidental contact to the head on that somewhat weird underhook he threw in. It was not used in any way to lever the head down or gain better control. I was more confused on the figure 4 - seemed like he had it in place for a long time before it was called. Couldn't really see what was going on. |

per the rules, the hands don't have to touch. If both hands touch the head at the same time (while under the armpits), it is called a full nelson. That's not my interpretation, it is what is in the rule book. |
