Cooper - They all started with erik burnett's father when they were around 6 or 7 years old and have stayed close ever since. The Stieber dad has had a major hand in the success of all of them. He was the one who push them and set up what tourneys they would go to and even have them practicing in his basement. The Ohio Dawgs is basically an off-shoot of that time in the Stiebers basement. They started with those 4 boys, Filipe martinez and jamie clark.....Jeff stieber has had a lot to do with their success. jeff will be the first to tell you he cant teach technique, but he has a crazy knack for instilling the attitude to become successful. |

If you are really his cousin - maybe you can help with an understanding of the Monroeville 4. The Stiebers, Phillips, and Tessari all at the same HS - and with that kind of talent. How does that happen? Are they related? Is there something in the water? I've referred to them as the Monroeville Mutants...in a joking way of course. I now live in the Detroit burbs and and no one believes me when I rattle off how good these guys are and what they accomplished so far. |
