Was there any doubt this would make dirty flo takedown. He did "take him down" even if it aint official.

That was sick Double over knee block and tossed him right over, not sure however if i would of called it illegal he did take him right over but his head hit the matt first so he has a post before opponents landed so not illegal (at least thats what i think). |

The only illegal freestyle throw in folkstyle is standing belly to back suplay. No, that isn't the only illegal throw. Try picking up a rule book sometime. Salto's are illegal as are suplays. Both are fairly dangerous moves and are explicitly illegal in high school and college wrestling. 5 point move in freestyle but definitely illegal here. The ref made the right call. |

that wasn't p.d., it was a slam. 2 hands behind the head signals a slamTwo hands behind the head simply means an illegal move - it can mean a slam but the same hand signal is used for any other illegal move. (there is a different hand signal for a technical violation such as clasping hands) This was a suplex which is explicitly illegal in folkstyle wrestling due to the fact that it is a rather dangerous move. Most moves that are illegal are illegal because they carry a high risk of injury to one or both participants. In this particular case it could also have been called a slam at the referee's discretion. The call was the right one. Sick throw though. Don't see them executed that well often. |
