Comment below is complete bs.... Silva had a fistful of shorts for the longest time, look back at the tape, and Chael the "noob" dropped Silva in five seconds with a double leg and g-n-p'd him for the entire first period... The scoreboard after 7 combined periods? Sonnen won 6 rounds, Silva scored one lucky triangle, and the referee in bout #2 needs his license revoked. #Silvaexposedagain |

The knee didn't really look like it hit Chael in the head; more of a body shot. Can't argue with the comments re: shorts grabbing though. That was really obvious and an incredibly weak move by Silva. However, I can't say I'm surprised that there was no call on the shorts pulling. Yves Lavigne has no business officiating a grade school wrestling match let alone one of the biggest championship rematches in UFC history. |

Silva was grabbing Chael's shorts for what seemed like 15-20 seconds. Looked like he sized him and landed a solid punch while clenched. No warning from referee... Probably warranted a stoppage plus -1 for Silva. Furthermore, the knee he landed while Chael was squarely on the seat of his pants was questionable at best. Great idea, fire off a dirty shot, miss the head and still get rewarded for it. |

After seeing Silva put the shoulder to Chael's face at the weigh-ins - Silva ain't playin, he's ready to street fight. Chael actually looked scared. Then with his phony, rehearsed statement he made to Rogan about "blah blah blah, only on pay-per-view" - I hate to say it but I think Silva is going to hurt Chael - first or second round KO. |

I don't know why people compare this and the bisping fight, bisping is 10X better than anderson in wrestling and scrambling, he trained a long time on getting up from wrestlers and defending takedowns, not to mention he is more explosive and physically stronger than anderson, it will be a lot easier to get anderson down, but anderson can end a fight in the blink of an eye, bisping can't. |
