Kodie, Sorry we missed the match. I really enjoyed watching you at Divisions, Sections and the State Meet. You did a great job at all three and showed your dedication to the sport one more time in this match. Don't know why the ref didn't slap the mat, must have been a hair under the shoulder that is not visable in the picture. Kodie Brown shown here with true determination for a pin to help his Ca team wasn't the first thing on his mind when he woke up that morning. Shortly after 10am and a huge pancake breakfast the call came in. The 112lb slated for the team dual that night couldn't make it and he was being called to duty! Not a state metal winner but one of there top 12 and a league, division and section champion, Kodie sprang into action to help out the team. Even with the added pound allowance Kodie had just 3 hours to drop some pounds and make weight. That night he should of added another fall victory to the teams winnings as you can see in the pic, but the greedy ref didn't give it to him. Even so his 10-5 victory helped Ca kick some major butt against Oregon. Good Job Kodie!!
