When I wrestled at Lindenwood the "Wrestling Room" was the carpeted Gym in the basement of Butler hall (I think it is the Cafe now) and we had 1 mat, that we had to roll out and up everyday. My how things have changed...thank god. From there it moved to wht used to be horse stables that were across from the Football field...I guess the fieldhouse is still there...then to the new grand Facilities...You kids today are lucky:)
We had 1 home dual that season and I think we won 27-21 over Forest Park in the basement of Butler Hall. I got the first win for Lindenwood Wrestling ever at the St. Louis Open and 1-0 Barnburner...I rode the sucker out. I think I still hold the record for most 1-0 matches in Lindenwood History...I was a highlight reel in motion.
