Brent Metcalf

Brent Metcalf

Brent Metcalf is one of the most anticipated recruits to enter college. He was undefeated in high school wrestling with 4 Michigan state titles. He also earned 6 junior national titles in the Olympic style of wrestling. College fans across the nation had to wait an extra year to see his return because he transfered to Iowa and was denied his freshman season by his former school. In 2008 he won the 149lb National Championship and was named the Dan Hodge Trophy winner.

Cael Sanderson

Cael Sanderson

Cael Sanderson, now entering his second year at the helm of the Penn State Nittany Lions has high expectations. After leaving Ames, Iowa, and his alma mater at Iowa State for the fertile recruiting grounds of the keystone state, Cael looks to build a dynasty in Happy Valley. Sanderson found success as a wrestler and coach as a Cyclone zat Iowa State, under coach Bobby Douglas, Cael compiled an unparalleled undefeated 159 and zero record on his way to four straight NCAA titles. He then followed his dreams of Olympic Gold to Athens where he defeated South Korea's Moon Eui Jae to win the gold. Sanderson then decided to quit competing and accept the challenge as a coach at Iowa State where he managed to qualify every one of his wrestlers for the national tournament, place second as a team and win a coach of the year award.

Henry Cejudo

Henry Cejudo

Henry Cejudo is the youngest wrestler to ever have success on the senior level. At 20 years old he has made his first Senior World Team and has already won his second US Open Championship. This relentless wrestler has been training with Terry Brands for a couple of years now and seems to have a never ending fuel tank. His ability to push the pace of a match will provide him with many opportunities for success in Beijing. Kevin Jackson says that "Henry is the future of Wrestling."

Jake Herbert

Jake Herbert

Jake Herbert has help lead the revival of the Northwestern program. He is a 3x All American and became a National Champion at 184lbs in the 2007 NCAA Championships. He is from Pennsylvania and will be entering his last year of eligibility in 2008.

Jordan Burroughs

Jordan Burroughs

Jordan Burroughs went into his senior year without a state title. By the time he was heading into college he was a state champion from NJ and a High School National Champion. Jordan went on to University of Nebraska and wrestled his true freshman year during the 2007 season.

Nick Simmons

Nick Simmons

Nick Simmons never lost in high school. He then stayed close to home and went to Michigan State where he was a 4X AA and helped his brother to 2 AA finishes. Nick is the largest 121 pounder in the world, his success at the international level is due to his ridiculous short offense.

Reece Humphrey

Reece Humphrey

Reece comes from wrestling blood. His father Jim Humphrey placed second at Worlds in 1979 and was a Big 10 Champ for Ohio State in 1972. Reece won 3 state titles in Indiana.
